I am a philosopher working in contemporary French thought and Speculative Realisms. My research centers on a paradox: how can it be that the central theses driving debates in speculative realism are already “hidden” in the work of Jean Baudrillard, the most radical anti-realist French philosopher of his generation? The key to this enigma lies in Baudrillard’s "secret" Schellingianism. For this reason, we must return to Friedrich W. J. Schelling in order to write this missing chapter of contemporary continental philosophy. For comments, suggestions, or collaboration ideas, you can reach me at: [email protected]
