I am a philosopher of science and medicine, specializing in the study of scientific and medical practices. My work seeks to understand how science and medicine are influenced by their broader contexts, as well as how these practices, in turn, shape those contexts. My research is grounded in two main areas: Philosophy of Science in Practice and American Pragmatism. Broadly, I aim to identify and analyze philosophical questions that emerge from scientific practice and to develop conceptual tools that address these questions.

In recent projects, I have focused on the global health agenda, particularly efforts to combat Neglected Tropical Diseases. My research examines how scientific practices are shaped by the framing and articulation of global health challenges. More generally, I am interested in exploring the epistemic and pragmatic value of plurality in scientific practices. This includes examining how different knowledge claims relate to one another and considering ways to organize epistemic communities in light of the apparent plurality.
