I'm French and live in the Macronian world of Paris. I'm a bit retired but I'm trying to do something useful. I spend time thinking about philosophical issues, like the hard problem of consciousness and the history of logic, and I also do some more formal work on logic. Ah, I almost forgot. The Descartes avatar? Because I take the Cogito to be a beautifully apt expression of the only thing I think I know. Thanks René for that! And so, of course, all the rest, I can only believe.
