I received my Ph.D. from Yale's Philosophy and Classics program in 2016 and am currently an assistant professor of philosophy at Idaho State University.
Right now I am working on Plato's response to the problem of first principles in the Cratylus, Parmenides, and Republic. This is one step in a larger project on a method I call 'exploring both sides'. My historical interests extend through early modern philosophy and across east/west boundaries; they connect with my interests in method, explanation, and epistemology more broadly.
