Eveline Groot is a researcher in the history of philosophy at the Erasmus School of Philosophy at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Her PhD project, titled Reason and the Passions in the Work of Germaine De Staël, focusses on Staël's philosophical anthropology in relation to her ideas about morality, social and political theory, feminism, and aesthetics.
