I work in the metaphysics of persistence and personal identity, and I am especially fascinated by counterintuitive theses. I focus on stage view, mereological nihilism, and counterpart relation, applied to all allegedly persisting things, persons, and other entities. I have further interests in the metaphysical applications of mereology, the ontology of the digital world, the extended mind, the history of modern philosophy, and the philosophy of language
