This article aims to explain the plus and minus approach in perpetuation of Islamic law in South Sulawesi. Substantial and cultural approacheswhich emphasis on the ethical aspects as well as the formalistic legalistic structural approach, both have weaknesses. This study found out that formalist Islamic movement, with its choice of structural paths, proved to not fully succeed in realizing the ideals of perpetuation Islamic law. On the contrary, even cultural Islam has not fully succeeded in realizing the ideals of religion in its comprehensive understanding. By looking at the socio-political reasons above, it is very argumentative if the two contraditory the approaches have been positioned dichotomically integrated. Moreover, in historical-empirical experiences in South Sulawesi, both approaches have been implemented with varying degrees of results.

This research analyses the failure of mediation in divorce cases at the Gorontalo Religious Court. This phenomenon is counterproductive to the efforts of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia to prevent the accumulation of cases and also to ignore religious recommendations for reconciliation when in conflict. This research is qualitative in nature with data collection using observation, interviews and documentation. The data was then analysed critically descriptively. The results showed that mediation failures continued to increase due to technical and non-technical reasons. Technically, the typology of divorce cases generally puts one of the parties (generally the wife) in a difficult position with an accumulation of long-standing disappointment and discomfort. This condition makes it difficult for mediators (both judge mediators and non-judge mediators) to carry out the mediation function. Non-technically, the support system in terms of time, place, process and totality of task implementation (especially for judge mediators) does not appear to be sufficiently supportive. The fact that all judge mediators have not all attended mediator training is another non-technical factor affecting mediation failure. Thus, the failure of divorce case mediation is not caused by a single factor but an accumulation of technical and non-technical factors that are intertwined at the same time. As long as there is no education, advocacy and correction of these two aspects, mediation failures in religious courts will continue to occur.

Wasl al-Fiqh bi al-Hadith integrates jurisprudence and hadith so that it enables fiqh experts to rely on hadith in formulating their rulings while hadith experts can derive a more accurate interpretation. Among others, this concept is applied at Aceh traditional dayah as the oldest Islamic educational institution in the Malay Archipelago which Acehness put their respect as the reference in Islamic rulings and teaching. This field study took place at Dayah Mudi Mesra, Samalanga, Aceh, due to its long-established reputation and great influence among Acehnese. The study aims to shed some light on the concept of wasl al-Fiqh bi al-Hadith according to some Islamic scholars, analyze the concept as perceived by the traditional Dayah of Aceh, and portray the polemic on Friday prayer ritual as prescribed by the traditional Dayah. The study employs qualitative data collection instruments consisting of library data, interviews, observations, and documentation. Inductive, deductive, and comparative methods were used for data analysis. The study found that implementation of this concept at the Dayah has been synonymous with the exclusive adoption of Shafi’i school as it heavily relies on several Shafi’i books or opinions of Shafi’i scholars as primary references. Eksistensi Gambar dalam film menurut Gilles Deleuze adalah kehidupan manusia dan perjalanannya menyatu dengan Tuhan. Ketika manusia menyaksikan film pikirannya tertuju pada objek gambar- gambar yang bergerak sehingga dirinya ikut bersatu dengan realitas yang ada pada film. Otak manusia seperti layar film yang mampu menyingkap realitas dan pikiran manusia mulai tenggelam dan menyatu dengan alam semesta, karena otak manusia mengeluarkan elektron yang bermuatan negatif dari atom-atom kemudian elektron tersebut tertarik dan mengikuti gerakan dari gambar-gambar yang ada di film yang bermuatan positif sehingga munculnya energi listrik dan gelombang, frekuensi cahaya yang mengakibatkan manusia mengalami pencapaian spiritual. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah untuk membuktikan bahwa segala sesuatu di dunia ini mengalami perubahan dan ketidakpastian sedangkan eksistensi manusia di di dunia ini adalah tidak ada. Di dunia ini yang ada hanya energi dan hukum perubahan alam semesta. Hal itu dikarenakan manusia sudah menyatu dengan Tuhan dan alam semesta. Manusia yang sudah mengalami pencerahan memanifestasikan dirinya dengan mengimajinasikan semua hal tentang kehidupan dunia fisiknya. Dengan demikian, kehidupan di dunia adalah sebuah alam imajinasi atau pikiran saja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif analitis dan metode deskriptif kuantitatif yang bersifat saintifik dengan mengintegralkan aspek kesenian, filsafat, mistisisme, spiritualisme, fisika klasik, fisika kuantum, mekanika kuantum dan kimia kuantum. Kesimpulan dari tulisan ini adalah manusia mengalami pencerahan dan mengalami perubahan forma atau bentuk dianalisa secara spiritual dan saintifik serta dapat memanifestasikan dan mengaktualisasikan aspek spiritualitasnya dalam bentuk materialisme di berbagai bidang disiplin ilmu seperti politik, ekonomi, geopolitik, kesenian, teknologi, sains, psikologi, agama dan budaya. Dengan demikian, manusia yang sudah tercerahkan dan mengalir energi alam semesta di dalam dirinya menjadi sebuah mesin atau alat pembangkit listrik bertenaga energi spiritual yang termanifestasikan dan terealisasi di dunia fisik.
