I am a philosopher of psychology, perception and mind from Brazil, currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Federal University of Minas Gerais/Brazil, as a beneficiary of the CAPES-PrInt program. I hold a MA and a PhD in Philosophy and Social Sciences from the Institut Jean Nicod in Paris.
My current research lies at the intersection of emotion and perception, and I am interested both in understanding the bodily, perceptual and cognitive mechanisms responsible for affective perception as well as more social and political issues such as the phenomenology and affectivity of racism. I am also a practitioner of buddhist mindfulness meditation and member and collaborator of the Nalanda Center for Buddhist Studies (Brazil), and I publish occasionally in the domain of buddhist philosophy (2019/2020).
