Francesco Allegri

I earned my MA in Philosophy from University of Florence and my Ph.D in Philosophy and Human Sciences from University of “Rome3”. I was a research fellow and adjunct professor at the University of Siena (Italy), where I taught Bioethics. I am currently Assistant Professor in Moral Philosophy at the Pegaso Telematic University of Naples (Italy), where I teach Ethics and Economics. My publications include five books (about W. D. Ross and normative pluralism, animal ethics, Richard Price and the foundations of virtue etc.). My articles have appeared in "Rivista di filosofia", "Ragion pratica", "Bioetica", "Ethics and Politics", "The Future of Science and Ethics", "Cultures and Values" etc. I am the Executive Editor of the international Journal "Relations. Beyond Anthropocentrism" and of the series I.R.E.N.E. (Interdisciplinary Researches on Ethics and the Natural Environment) for LED publishing house. I am the President of the Italian Institute of Bioethics for Tuscany.
