PhD in Semiotics (Università degli Studi di Siena, 2012), he is currently Assistant Professor at the Dept. of Philosophy and Communication at the University of Bologna. He has been research fellow at the University of Bologna, at the Tallinn University of Technology, visiting researcher at the Peirce Edition Project, IUPUI, Indianapolis, and Adjunct Professor of History of Semiotics at the University of Bologna.
