Frank Hindriks is working on a book provisionally entitled "The Structure of a Just Society" that is devoted to social ontology and collective ethics. It presents a relational and non-reductive conception of social practices, institutions and collective agents. And it brings it to bear on questions of collective rights and responsibilities, social norms and values, as well as structural injustices. Hindriks is professor of Ethics, Social and Political Philosophy at the University of Groningen, Director of the Centre for Philosophy, Politics and Economics, and editor of the Journal of Social Ontology.
