Frodo Podschwadek is currently working as Research Assistant with a focus on Research Software Engineering / Current Research Information Systems at the Academy of Sciences and Literature | Mainz, where he is involved in the development of software systems used by the German NFDI4Culture consortium.
Whenever time permits, Frodo is also working on topics of social and political philosophy, with a strong focus on liberalism, democracy, and their intersection with areas like education, media ethics, and migration. He is also interested in normative ethics, moral philosophy, and the philosophy of artificial intelligence.

Frodo has been awarded his PhD in philosophy by the University of Glasgow in Summer 2018. Prior to moving to the United Kingdom, he received his MA in philosophy from the University of Hamburg, Germany.
His first book, Educating the Reasonable: Political Liberalism and Public Education has been published in October 2021 by Springer Nature.
