I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Waikato, New Zealand. In my Ph.D. research, I am attempting to develop a new concept of critical thinking through aesthetics. I believe that critical thinking lacks a comprehensive discussion of imagination and creativity and presents a one-sided view of emotions as barriers to thinking. Through aesthetics, I argue that these neglected aspects of thinking can enhance our capacities for critical and creative thinking.
I am also working as a tutor at the University of Waikato.
