I am an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Most of my current research is focused on J. G. Fichte's social and political philosophy. I am also writing about Kant, Schelling, and Hegel, particularly in connection to Fichte. Currently, I am at the beginning stages of a book on Fichte's theory of recognition.
