I am a philosopher specialised in epistemology, the philosophy of science, and the philosophy of mathematics, with particular interests in scientific understanding, explanation, and the applicability of mathematics to the physical world. My earlier work engaged with classical debates in mathematical ontology and the role of mathematics in scientific practice, and I held research positions in Iași, Munich, Brussels, Essen, and Ghent before joining the MCMP (LMU Munich) as a Marie Skłodowska‑Curie Postdoctoral Fellow in 2022, where I worked on a project on understanding in climate science.
