I hold a PhD in philosophy and PGCE from Pembroke College, Oxford. I am currently attached to the Dept of Economics at the University of Manchester, where I work as a Senior Tutor. I have previously taught at the University of Liverpool,t Liverpool Hope University, and Cherwell School.

I have interests in most areas of philosophy and religion, but special regard goes to Indian Buddhism (especially Nagarjuna and Vasubandhu), Advaita Vedānta (especially Gaudapada and Sankara), Classical Sanskrit, Pāli.
