I am a philosopher at the University of Lisbon and member of the LanCog Group of the Centre of Philosophy. I have recently been awarded a 6-year FCT fellowship for my project called "Demanding Evidence: epistemic and legal problems"
I am interested in issues concerning epistemic justification and evidence, and how they relate to broader debates, such as the infallibilism-fallibilism debate, the rationality of perception, the nature of armchair knowledge. I am also interested in topics within applied and social epistemology, including legal as well as standpoint epistemology.
