Giannis Stamatellos is the founder and president of the Institute of Philosophy and Technology and a professor of philosophy at the American College of Greece. He studied computer science (1991) in Greece and he received his Master of Arts (2001) and Ph.D. (2005) from the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David. He was post-doctoral fellow at the University of Copenhagen (2010–2012) and research associate at the University of Oxford (2011–2014).
