Judaism has historically played a foundational role in shaping moral monotheism, yet its theological self-understanding has remained constrained by anthropomorphic language and tribal exclusivity. This paper proposes a conceptual transition from what is termed “Judaism 1.0” to “Judaism 2.0”: a theological framework grounded in epistemic humility informed by evolutionary cognition. Drawing on insights from Darwinian evolution, philosophy of science, and Jewish intellectual history, the paper argues that human cognitive limitations preclude any positive description of God’s nature beyond existence itself. Judaism 2.0 retains the practical and ethical structures of classical Judaism while rejecting anthropomorphic and attribute-based theology. Additionally, it proposes an inclusive theological posture that addresses historical exclusion and its sociopolitical consequences. The resulting framework advances a single meta-commandment: the reduction of human ignorance as a religious imperative.

This small volume points its readers to a simple, broadly agreeable concept that upon further thought offers us the fabled "Archimedes Point": the most grounded, indefinitely durable, immovable hinge to leverage our lives around it. "Unbound Ignorance" is a philosophy that recasts religion, and provides a modern guide to our strategic life decisions, as well as offering daily help vis-à-vis the growing complexities of an ever more crowded, more endangered planet where information technology keeps redefining our possibilities, and limitations, and advanced biology fogs up our sense of identity.
