    This paper shows the relations between ethics and aesthetics in Cicero's roots in Agustin's thought is attempted, in special the relation between the rhetorical art and virtue. Art is understood in terms of scientia as the reception and the communication of truth, and not merely a private representation, not only fictia, but also false.
