The Politics of Space, the Space of Politics in Comparative Law: The Politics of Space, the Space of Politics in Comparative Law
International Journal for the Semiotics of Law - Revue Internationale de Sémiotique Juridique 38 (7): 2137-2153. 2025.
In contemporary debates, the relationship between space and law is seen as mutually constitutive. Law must be understood as a set of techniques of spatial organisation and governance, and as a body of spatial representations. It is here that we can observe the role of comparative law and writings on foreign legal systems in the construction of space.
