I specialize in epistemology and philosophy of mind/cognitive science. My research focuses on understanding our nature as cognitive and epistemic agents broadly construed. I'm particularly interested in the structure of abilities and skills, as well as in their acquisition process. I endorse a situated approach to cognition that is why, in my research, I explore and conceptualize the bearing that the material, social and cultural environment has on our cognitive and epistemic characters. I am also applying results on the nature of our cognitive systems to contemporary challenges in epistemology.
