I am interested in the development of object relations models of the mind based in the work of Ronald Fairbairn. I believe that Glover's theory of ego nuclei is consistent with Fairbairn's model. I think that the recent use of Markov blankets as ways of understanding minds could be consistent with the object relations approach.
