After graduating in mathematics, philosophy, and physics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Gregg Jaeger completed his doctoral work under Abner Shimony at Boston University, where he is now a professor, after completing postdoctoral work in the philosophy and history of science at the MIT-Dibner Institute and experimental physics at the National Institute of Science and Technology. His research now focuses largely on elementary particles in quantum theory and foundational issues surrounding them.
