I am a PhD student in philosophy at McGill University in the Gender and Women’s Studies option. I am primarily interested in feminist theory, social ontology, and conceptual engineering. My current PhD research is on the nature and function of masculinity under patriarchy. My master’s thesis in philosophy and bioethics analyzed the role of social and political values in influencing scientific funding in psychiatry and the impact it has on patients and scientific results.
I am also more broadly interested in political philosophy, ethics, and in the work of Michel Foucault.
