I am a Senior Lecturer (tenured) of Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Greifswald, Germany, and a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Oldenburg, Germany. Before coming to Greifswald, I spent time at the Universities of Heidelberg, Halle, Notre Dame, Lucerne, Bonn, Cologne, Oldenburg and Konstanz. I completed my PhD in philosophy at the University of Halle-Wittenberg and my Magister Artium in philosophy and classical philology at the University of Heidelberg. Hi, welcome to my homepage! I am a Senior Lecturer (tenured) of Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Greifswald, Germany, and a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Oldenburg, Germany. Before coming to Greifswald, I spent time at the Universities of Heidelberg, Halle, Notre Dame, Lucerne, Bonn, Cologne, Oldenburg and Konstanz. I completed my PhD in philosophy at the University of Halle-Wittenberg and my Magister Artium in philosophy and classical philology at the University of Heidelberg. My research interests are epistemology, logic, philosophy of religion, philosophy of love, medical ethics, and ancient philosophy. These interests currently include theories of knowledge and ultimate epistemological foundations, epistemic paradoxes, Gödel's god and devil, theories of love, and modal-ontological and transcendental attempts to prove God’s existence. Within ancient philosophy, I am especially interested in Plato's concept of knowledge, the connection between Plato's logic, epistemology, and ontology and in ancient theories of love.
