Hi, welcome to my homepage! I am a Lecturer of Theoretical Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Oldenburg, Germany. Before coming to Oldenburg, I spent time at the Universities of Heidelberg, Halle, Notre Dame, Lucerne, Bonn and Cologne. I completed my PhD in philosophy at the University of Halle-Wittenberg and my Magister Artium in philosophy and classical philology at the University of Heidelberg. My research interests are epistemology, logic, philosophy of religion, philosophy of love, medical ethics, and ancient philosophy. These interests currently include theories of knowledge and ultimate epistemological foundations, epistemic paradoxes, theories of love, and modal-ontological and transcendental attempts to prove God’s existence. Within ancient philosophy, I am especially interested in the connection between Plato's logic, epistemology, and ontology.
