Gregor Schäfer

Currently Research Fellow at the School of Advanced Study - University of London with a project on utopia in Classical German Philosophy. My research interests and publications particularly include Classical German Philosophy (Leibniz, Fichte, Hegel, Schelling), metaphysics, conceptions of objective idealism, political thinking, philosophy of religion, and aesthetics. My dissertation deals with the internal relationship between the project o a speculative transformation of metaphysics and practical philosophy in Hegel. In my postdoc project, I am working on constellations of crisis and transformation in post-Kantian Classical German Philosophy - at the intersection of systematic philosophy, metaphysics, philosophy of history, and political philosophy.
