Guido Cusinato intends philosophy as an exercise of transformation. He has developed a theory of personal singularity, starting from the phenomenology of emotional sharing and the expressivity field of the lived body.
His current research interests concern phenomenology of care and person, emotional sharing, biosemiotics, philosophy of psychiatry, and phenomenology of intersubjectivity.
He is Full Professor of Theoretical Philosophy at the University of Verona (Italy). From 2013 to 2018 he was President of the international "Max-Scheler-Gesellschaft" (Cologne, Germany).
