I’m Guido Melchior. I’m a philosopher at the University of Graz, working primarily in epistemology. I received my PhD from the University of Graz 2009 and my venia docendi for philosophy in 2018. I am PI of the FWF project ‘Knowing, Checking, and Other Epistemic Standings’ and key-researcher of the Cluster of Excellence "Knowledge in Crisis". I published a book entitled ‘Knowing and Checking: An Epistemological Investigation’ with Routledge. I was visiting scholar at Rutgers University and I am recurring visiting scholar at the University of Arizona and UC Irvine. I am also one of the editors of Grazer Philosophische Studien.
