My research, which is in the history of philosophy, is devoted to the Austro-German tradition, especially the School of Brentano, and to Aristotelian philosophy, in particular the Latin medieval tradition. From a systematic point of view, I am interested in philosophy of mind, metaphysics, and epistemology. I am currently leading the DFG Emmy-Noether research group "A Sensible World" at HU Berlin (www.a-sensible-world.net).
