My research, which focuses on the history of philosophy, is devoted to post-Kantian philosophy, in particular the School of Brentano and early phenomenology, and to medieval philosophy. From a systematic point of view, I am interested in philosophy of mind, metaphysics, and epistemology. I currently lead the DFG Emmy-Noether research group "A Sensible World" at HU Berlin (www.a-sensible-world.net).
