My research in the history of philosophy is devoted to the Austro-German tradition, especially the School of Brentano, and to the Aristotelian tradition. From a theoretical point of view, I am interested in philosophy of mind, more specifically in questions connected with intentionality, as well as in ontology and in theories of concepts. I am currently leading the DFG Emmy-Noether research group "A Sensible World" (www.a-sensible-world.net).
