Now retired from my life's work as a psychoanalyst, I am studying philosophy for pleasure - online, from my home in a remote part of Victoria. My MA focused on epistemological scepticism and its challenges, from Pyrrhonism to the present. My PhD research examines the possible origins of a 'sceptic attitude' during the acquisition of the symbols and concepts required for preverbal infants to achieve language capacity.
