Helga Varden is a professor in philosophy (home department) as well as in women and gender studies and in political science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Varden’s main research interests are in Kant's practical philosophy as well as (the history of) legal and political philosophy, the philosophy of sex and love, and feminist philosophy.
