Henry Lara-Steidel

I study disinformation, conspiracy theories, and propaganda; their spread on the internet and social media; and what can education do, if anything, about them. I also look at the influence of AI and algorithms (and the companies that built and control them) on our epistemic practices and democratic processes. I believe and defend the idea that education ought make for better thinkers, as shown in a misinformation resilient public.
