    This thesis seeks to present the concept of "facts" in law that the Italian proceduralist and philosopher of law Michele Taruffo maintained throughout his prolific work, and then contrast it with the following philosophical currents: the transcendental idealism of Immanuel Kant, the logical atomism of Bertrand Russell, the hermeneutic philosophy of Hans-Georg Gadamer and the neopragmatism of Susan Haack, seeking to explain the epistemological features of the concept initially mentioned.
