I’m a philosopher and ethicist of science and technology, with an interdisciplinary background (physics and music).

I have a particular interest in the intersection between biology and ethics, where I’m interested in the place of purpose in a Darwinian worldview: agency, progress, human nature.

I’m also interested in the goals and norms of science in general, and how this influences not only how science deals with concepts such as agency or human nature, but also how this impacts scientific integrity and public trust in science.
