Husein Inusah is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the Department of Classics and Philosophy, University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast, Ghana. He obtained his PhD in Philosophy from the University of Ghana in 2014. He was a Dissertation Completion Fellow at the University of Rochester, USA NY in the 2013/2014 academic year. Prof Inusah is an Iso Lomso Fellow of the Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study (STIAS), South Africa, a fellow of the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin Institute for Advanced Study, Berlin, Germany, and a fellow of the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) of the African Humanities Program (AHP), USA. He has published widely in journals on decoloniality and currently writing a monograph on “Epistemic Virtues of African Proverbs: Implication for Decolonizing Knowledge.” Prof. Inusah’s area of research includes the Epistemology of Decoloniality, African Philosophy, and Consensual Rationality in the traditional Akan model of deliberation.
