Hyejin Kim is a Ph.D. student in Philosophy at Notre Dame, holding a B.S. in Biological Sciences, a B.A. in Philosophy, and an M.A. in Philosophy from Seoul National University.
Her research primarily lies in metaphysics and the philosophy of art, with additional interests in ethics and the philosophy of religion. Taking studio art classes at Notre Dame, she seeks to approach art ontology from an artist’s perspective and frequently incorporates art making as a methodology for communicating and exploring various philosophical topics.
