I've written on topics across philosophy, music, sound studies, and art theory for publications including parallax, Continental Philosophy Review, and Contemporary Music Review, and my current research focuses on experimentation and on the differences and continuities between conceptualisations of this notion in philosophy, art, music, and science. I received a PhD from Kingston University’s Centre for Research in Modern European Philosophy in 2016, with a thesis exploring experimental practices of music and philosophy in the work of John Cage and Gilles Deleuze.

I've previously been a Lecturer in Modern and Contemporary Art History at the University of Edinburgh, served as Postdoctoral Research Assistant on the project The Future of Indeterminacy: Datification, Memory, Biopolitics at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, University of Dundee, been a Tutor in Philosophy at the University of Dundee, and lectured in Philosophy, Politics, and Art at the University of Brighton. I'm an associate member of the Scottish Centre for Continental Philosophy, and part of the editorial board of Evental Aesthetics.
