I am currently working on misanthropy and pessimism, virtues and vices, illness and mortality, and themes in Buddhist and Classical Chinese philosophy.
I have also worked on issues in aesthetics, ethics, philosophy of education, philosophy of science, philosophy of religion, philosophical practice, and the work of Mary Midgley.
I also work on intellectual and curricular diversification of academic philosophy.
