He teaches Ethics for undergraduate in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires (Faculty of Philosophy and Literature). He was full member of the research ethics committee in the Oncology Institute “Angel H. Roffo” of the University of Buenos Aires (Jun 2012-May 2015).
In February 2014, he was awarded the Caroline Miles Scholarship of the Ethox Centre at the Department of Population Health, Oxford University, UK. In September 2014, he was awarded The Manuel Velasco Suarez Award for Excellence in Bioethics, by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and the PAHO Foundation. Since February 2015, it is a member of the Post-Trial Responsibility Workgroup of MRCT (Multi Regional Clinical Trials) Center of Harvard and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, United States.
El Dr. Ignacio Mastroleo trabaja en ética de la investigación en salud humana y teorías de la justicia. Tiene un doctorado en filosofía por la Universidad de Buenos Aires (marzo de 2012). Es investigador asistente del CONICET (mayo 2015 a la fecha). Y lleva a cabo su investigación en el Programa de Bioética de FLACSO Argentina bajo la dirección de la Dr. Florencia Luna. Es profesor de Ética en la Universidad de Buenos Aires (Facultad de Filosofía y Letras). Fue miembro del comité de ética de la investigación en el Instituto de Oncología "Ángel H. Roffo" de la Universidad de Buenos Aires (junio 2012-mayo 2015).
En febrero de 2014, ganó la Beca Caroline Miles del Ethox Centre en el Departamento de Salud de la Población de la Universidad de Oxford, Reino Unido. En septiembre de 2014, recibió el Premio Manuel Velasco Suárez a la Excelencia en Bioética, por la Organización Panamericana de la Salud (OPS) y la PAHO Foundation. Desde febrero de 2015, forma parte del Grupo de Trabajo sobre Responsabilidad Posinvestigación (Post-Trial Responsibility Workgroup) del MRCT Center de la Universidad de Harvard, Estados Unidos.
