I am primarily interested in social equity and health equity (and the connections between the two): my research relates to issues of distributive justice and of equity in the context of health and healthcare, in connection with social inequalities and the social determinants of health, and with accessibility and inclusivity of health research and care.
My current focus are the social barriers to health and wellbeing in contexts of socioeconomic deprivation, and the tensions betwen individual and social responsibility in health and beyond.
