Imge Oranlı is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Arizona State University, School of Applied Sciences and Arts.

She completed her Ph.D. in Philosophy at DePaul University in Chicago in 2015, under the supervision of Tina Chanter. Her dissertation, entitled Reframing Theories of Evil: Ethics, Violence, and the State, examined the intersections of theories of evil and state violence in its various forms.
