Imge Oranlı is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy in the Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication Unit at ASU's College of Integrative Sciences and Arts (Polytechnic Campus @ Mesa, Arizona). She wrote her dissertation under Tina Chanter's supervision, titled "Reframing Theories of Evil: Ethics, Violence and the State" and received her Ph.D. from DePaul University in Chicago (2015). In 2016, she started working as a lecturer at Koç University and other universities in Istanbul (Turkey) until joining ASU in 2019.
