Iva Georgieva received her PhD from the Department of History and Philosophy of Science, The University of Tokyo. Her thesis was in the fields of Philosophy of Science, Virtual Reality, narrative therapy and PTSD. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor in the Department Philosophy of Science at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, BAS. She works in the fields of therapeutic narratives for wellbeing in VR, philosophy and ethics of technology and AI and interactive digital narratives.
