My work is primarily in epistemology, with a focus on the rationality of belief. My current research develops pragmatist accounts of reasons for belief and applies them to issues of epistemic empowerment and doxastic alienation, especially in social epistemology and the ethics of belief. In addition, I'm also interested in the value of lives and how nihilism about cosmic meaning relates to them.
