I am Professor of Philosophy at Deakin University, and Fellow of the Australian Academy of Humanities (FAHA).
I have written 6 books, including Merleau-Ponty, Embodied Cognition and Enactivism: Between Phenomenology and the Life-Sciences (EUP, forthcoming 2026), Phenomenology, Naturalism and Science: A Hybrid and Heretical Proposal (Routledge 2018) and Analytic Versus Continental: Arguments on the Methods and Value of Philosophy (Routledge 2010, with James Chase).
