Jake Browning is currently a Berggruen/Templeton World Charity Fellow and post-doctorate at NYU Center for Data Science. He researches how artificial intelligence and cognitive science are transforming traditional ideas of concepts, learning, and mind.

Jake received his PhD from the New School for Social Research. His work explores issues in the history of philosophy and psychology from the early Modern period to the present, with a specific emphasis in the science of consciousness and visual perception.
