I'm an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Creighton University, interested in questions concerning meaning, knowledge, history, and value. My research lies at the intersection of epistemology, the theory of meaning, and intentionality, with a special interest in bridging the divide between Continental and Anglo-American work in these areas. In historical terms, I specialize in early to mid-20th-century thought, especially the phenomenological tradition and its intersections with the history of analytic philosophy.
