Jake Earl is Director of Research, Innovation, and Data Ethics in the National Center for Ethics in Health Care at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. He previously worked as a bioethicist at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and as a clinical ethicist at Inova Health System, in addition to completing a postdoctoral fellowship in bioethics at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center. He holds a PhD in philosophy from Georgetown University, and his research interests include various topics in research ethics, clinical ethics, and reproductive ethics.
